What a day Plug in and play demo recording looks like.

 

This is a live recording service that offers you 4 hours of studio time.

You and your band or solo act will come to the studio, set up your instruments and equipment, and do a sound check. When everything sounds good, I will start the recording and you will perform your songs.

The goal is to capture a raw and authentic sound, so there is no multitrack recording, no overdubbing and no metronome. You have to rely on your musical skills and energy.

We will record one song at a time; then we will play it back. If you are not happy with the result, we can record it again. If you are satisfied, we can move on to the next song. You can record as many songs as you want within the 4 hours.

After the session is over, you will pack up and leave, and I will do the mixing. You will get the final recordings as well as the individual stems from me.

 

To ensure a high-quality recording, please follow these guidelines:

Drums: The drum heads should be well-maintained and properly tuned. A poorly sounding kit will affect the final product.

Guitars: The strings should be replaced a few days before the session and the equipment should be free of noise.

Bass: Fresh strings are recommended unless you want a vintage tone. You can use my Genz Benz streamliner 900 Class D amp and Genz Benz GB410T cab, so there is no need to bring your own.

Most importantly, make sure you know your parts and practice as much as possible!
